Joining
Do I need a membership to attend?
Yes. Shadows is a private members’ club, so everyone entering needs a valid membership — from a single Day Pass up to a 12-month plan. You can buy one online or at the door.
How do I apply?
Create your account here in about a minute, then pick a membership plan. You’re also welcome to sort it out in person at the door.
Can I apply and come the same night?
Absolutely — a Day Pass gets you in that night. If you expect to come back, the 6- or 12-month plans work out far better value.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. You must be 21 or older and bring valid government-issued photo ID every visit.
What if I don’t have photo ID?
We can’t admit anyone without valid government-issued photo ID, no exceptions — please always have it with you.
Which payment methods do you take?
In person we take cash, Venmo and CashApp. Online card & PayPal are available once enabled. Shadows is a BYOB venue.
How do refunds work?
Memberships are fixed-term and non-refundable. They don’t auto-renew — you simply renew whenever you’re ready.
Your First Visit
Who is allowed at Shadows events?
Verified adult members aged 21+. Some nights are themed or couples-focused — check the event details before you come.
What should I wear?

Are Saturdays run differently?
Saturdays are our biggest nights, with later hours (doors until 5am) and a fuller room. Themed events often land on weekends.
What usually gets someone turned away?
No valid ID, being under 21, obvious intoxication, ignoring the dress code, or not respecting consent and the house rules.
What age range are most members?
A broad, welcoming adult mix — commonly 25–55, though everyone 21 and over is welcome.
Private Bookings
Can I book the club for a private event?
Yes — we host private group celebrations and venue rentals. Contact us with your date and headcount and we’ll take it from there.
What does a rental include?
Use of the venue and its facilities for your group. The exact details depend on your event — get in touch for a tailored quote.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weekends — popular dates fill up fast.
